When inspecting the horse that you're considering buying it's always a good idea to take along an experienced person to help with this all important decision.

There are many pit falls. While the seller might tell you that the horse has won loads of shows, it's only as good as the horses it has beaten and at some shows the quality is not high. Or it may be a pony club mount but that does not mean that it is automatically suitable for a beginner rider.
